The Project Engineer is responsible for leading new and sustaining projects in both the Displays and Optical Products business units. The position will require the candidate to be multifunctional in both mechanical design and project planning. The role encompass a wide variety of responsibilities including leading the product design for displays, creating detailed drawings, optical filter design, creating technical documentation, generating BOM structures, defining strategies for manufacturing, and project planning. This position will be both internal and externally facing and will require the ability to work closely with customers. Summary

Description: Perform electrical and optical verification testing for production units. Summary: The Electronics Engineer has a multifaceted role that is responsible for supporting many parts of the organization including Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for designing and documenting electronic test boxes that support the development and testing of products in both the Display and Optical Products business units. The Electronics Engineer will also be responsible for supporting the design and selection of electronics for new and existing products. Furthermore, the role will have ownership of technical evaluation and troubleshooting for the RMA process and perform general testing of products when needed. This position is very hands on and will require the candidate to prototype and build electronic circuits and to package them as clean deliverable solutions. This position requires the individual to be well-organized, a self-starter, and able to multi-task with good verbal and written communications skills. The engineer will utilize previous experience using electronic test equipment, hand and small power tools, read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.

Interprets and executes policies and procedures and provides modifications to operating processes. Leads internal audits, external audits, training, Corrective Action Board, and QMS improvements. The quality engineer will lead supplier activities related to vendor approval, audits and quality. Establishes new test and inspection strategies. The quality engineer is also responsible to develop and execute environmental and EMI tests either internally or coordinate activities with outside laboratories. The work consists of reviewing customer needs and translating them into detail product requirements. The design engineer will perform all 3D modeling and also perform detailed dimensioning of product components. The design engineer will work on opto-electronic mechanical assemblies that are complex. The design engineer works with a team of scientist and manufacturing engineer to ensure product will meet all requirements. The design engineer is also involved at the early stage of new product definition and support marketing and sales inquiries in an engineering capacity.

Assembly of manufacturing and LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) modules and related electronics such as, LCD module backlight components, controller boards, LED drivers, and related interface assemblies. Assembler to perform manufacturing steps including adjusting mechanical clearance, alignment of LCD backlight components, and assembly of circuit cards and touch screens to meet specifications. Assembly using hand tools and special fixtures. Will install hardware and apply adhesives to complete assembly. May train workers in assembly operations.
