Summary

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer establishes and directs manufacturing practices, processes, procedures, facilities, tools and equipment for production. This position utilizes “lean manufacturing” principles to minimize inventory, maximize throughput, and optimize facility utilization. The position requires broad technical experience in a fast growing manufacturing environment. This will include manufacturing of raw materials (such as custom glass, polymer and acrylic materials), machining, polymeric processing, glass finishing, thin film coatings, optical bonding, opto-mechanical assembly and optical metrology.

Summary

The Sr. Mechanical Engineer is responsible for defining requirements and performing detailed design activities related to avionics and defense display assemblies. The work consists of reviewing customer needs and translating them into detail product requirements. It includes defining the product structure, performing engineering analysis and calculation, material selections, developing manufacturing strategy. The Sr. Mechanical Engineer will perform all 3D modeling and also perform detailed dimensioning of product components. The Sr. Mechanical Engineer will work on opto-electronic mechanical assemblies that are complex. This position requires the application of extensive and broad technical experience in LCD display design and full knowledge of other related disciplines. The Sr. Mechanical Engineer works with a team of scientists and manufacturing engineers to ensure products will meet all requirements. The position requires detail orientation, communication skills, and the ability to multi-task. The Sr. Mechanical engineer is also involved at the early stage of new product definition and support marketing and sales inquiries in an engineering capacity.

Director of Business Development is responsible for the business development activities of Cevians’ successful Optical Products business unit and positioning it for future growth. This shall be achieved by expanding the current product offering, identifying and capturing new markets as well as developing new business opportunities with existing targeted growth customers. The overall mandate for the Optical Products BU is to maintain Cevians’ dominant market position while deploying growth strategies that will result in 12%CAGR of EBITDA over the next 5 years. Director of Business Development contributes towards the goal in identifying high growth opportunities in new markets by identifying and defining new products based on Cevians technologies in material science, photochemistry, thin film coatings and product design and metrology capabilities. Director of Business Development for Optical Products will provide front line support to the VP of Optical Products and CTO for evaluation of new product and capabilities investments, supporting the growth goal of the product line.

The quality engineer will support the daily operation of the Quality System of the organization. Will respond to internal and external customer complaints and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions. Interprets and executes policies and procedures and provides modifications to operating processes. The quality engineer will lead supplier activities related to vendor approval, audits and quality. Inspectors work with manufacturing during the production process by reviewing the quality of the product during the various manufacturing processes.
